Cooled by immersion Chillers

The carcasses of the birds are immersed in water tanks for cooling and reducing contamination. During the immersion cooling, the temperature should drop to 40° C and below 4° c.
Ice plants in Scales (FLIP) with Integrated cold water plant (ICWP)
Ice plant in integrated scales with the chilled water plant allows to cool even the largest birds below 4° C within the shortest time.The ICWP pré-resfria water to the FLIP and provides water at 4° C for spinchiller. The FLIP continuously produces small scales of ice that fill evenly spinchiller cells. The manufactured ice is specifically adjusted to the production of mini scales sub-resfriadas.These particles of thin ice, circulate between and within substrates absorb heat quickly.
The small size of the scales promotes faster cooling and with greater efficiency. Such dynamic cooling dramatically reduces the cooling times (30 to 45 min according to the weight of the chicken), enabling significant savings of water and energy. Compared to the thicker ice produced on plates or tubes, which take longer to melt and remain partially integers in the tank at the end of the process (dirty energy). The solid ice harvest mode KTI also results in more consistent than ice cold in tubes or plates with receives periodic cycle.

Precise temperature control

The automatic ice dispensing doses of ice in the correct amount according to Spinchiller load. A probe can be connected to PLC ice warehouse to trigger automatically the ice delivery as soon as the temperature reaches the critical threshold Spinchiller.
